Michael is a trial lawyer dedicated to defending and representing those who have been charged with OVI and other serious traffic and criminal offenses.

Michael is a partner at Cannizzaro, Bridges, Jillisky & Streng, LLC and has engaged in extensive trial work successfully representing hundreds of people facing serious legal consequences in traffic and criminal cases.

It is Michael's goal to provide the highest standard of legal services, using his experience, knowledge, and developing a relationship with each client to understand the intracacies of each client's case and tailoring a defense that meets each client's individualized needs. Michael is constantly trying to apply new technology, learning new aspects of the law, and refining his techniques to strive for the best possible results in each case. Michael takes pride in providing legal advice that is both practical and knowledgeable.

Michael obtained his juris doctorate from Capital University in 2000 and was admitted to the Ohio State bar in the same year. He received his bachelor's degree in biology and education from Capital University in 1997.

In 2005 Michael became qualified in accordance with the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration (NHTSA) and International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) in DWI detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Michael has given lectures on the legal issues of DUI at the Wellness Driver Intervention Program (DIP) as well as for the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys' annual Advanced DUI Seminar ('07, '08, '09). 

Michael is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Union County Bar Association. Michael is a member of the American Association for Justice. Michael is also a member of the National Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and the Ohio Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers (OACDL).
